Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the DonutTrace Discord bot and website (together, the “Service”). By adding, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

DonutTrace shows DonutSMP player statistics inside Discord and on this website. It is provided “as is” and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time without notice.

2. Eligibility

You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement for your country and follow Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using DonutTrace.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• abuse, overload, spam, or attempt to disrupt the Service or the servers and APIs it relies on;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harass or harm others;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the bot, its data, its API keys, or any accounts;
• bypass, disable, or interfere with any premium gating, rate limits, or security measures.

4. Intellectual property & restrictions

The DonutTrace name, logo, diamond mark, branding, design, text, artwork, and code are owned by DonutTrace and protected by law. Unless we give you written permission, you may not:

• copy, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive our source code or how it works;
• scrape, clone, resell, redistribute, or create derivative works based on the Service or any part of it;
• use our name, logo, branding, or assets to identify your own product, or in any way that implies affiliation with or endorsement by DonutTrace.

5. Third-party services

DonutTrace relies on Discord and the DonutSMP API, and pulls player skins from third-party avatar services. We don't control these and aren't responsible for them. DonutTrace is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang, Microsoft, or DonutSMP.

6. Disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Statistics may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. To the fullest extent allowed by law, DonutTrace is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, including for breaking these Terms.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your country / state], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what DonutTrace collects and how it's used. We try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Your Discord user ID — stored only if you join the waitlist or are granted premium, so we can DM you and check your access.
• Minecraft usernames you look up — used to fetch stats at the moment of your request.
• Basic command interactions — needed to respond to your commands.

We do not read your messages or collect message content, and we don't sell your data.

Payments

If and when premium features are paid, payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We don't receive or store your full card details.

Third parties

To run the Service we share the minimum necessary with Discord (the platform), the DonutSMP API (to fetch stats), avatar providers (to show player heads), and, for paid features, a payment processor.

Retention & your choices

Waitlist and premium records are kept until you remove yourself or ask us to delete them. You can leave the waitlist any time with /waitlist leave, and you can request deletion of your data through the support server.

Children

DonutTrace isn't directed at anyone below Discord's minimum age. Please don't use it if you don't meet that age.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect data, but no online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.

End User License Agreement (EULA)

This EULA governs your use of the DonutTrace software (the bot and website).

License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use DonutTrace as it is provided to you. No other rights are granted.

Restrictions

You may not:

• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or try to extract the source code or logic of the Service;
• copy, modify, translate, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or host your own version of DonutTrace or any part of it;
• reuse our code, assets, artwork, or branding in another project;
• use bots, scrapers, or automation to bulk-extract data from the Service;
• circumvent premium access controls.

Ownership

DonutTrace and all related code, designs, and branding remain our property. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved.

Termination

This license ends automatically if you break any of these terms, at which point you must stop using the Service.

Refund Policy

This policy applies to any paid or premium DonutTrace features.

• Premium features are digital goods delivered instantly, so purchases are generally non-refundable except where a refund is required by law.
• If something isn't working as described, contact us within [14] days of purchase and we'll try to make it right — refunds beyond that are at our discretion.
• Prices, plans, and features may change at any time. A change won't affect a purchase you've already made.
• Starting a chargeback instead of contacting us first may result in your access being revoked.
